Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

These Terms & Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials.  Entry and claim instructions are deemed to form part of the Terms and Conditions and by participating, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the Terms and Conditions.  Please retain a copy for your information.

Dunhills (Pontefract) PLC, whose registered address is 26 Front Street, Pontefract, WF8 1NJ, England with Company Number 160251 (“HARIBO”) (the “Promoter”) with permission of Nectar / Sainsburys (the “Prize Provider”).

Eligibility
  1. This Promotion is open to UK residents only (England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland), aged 18 years or over, excluding employees of the Promoter, their families, agents, suppliers or anyone else professionally connected with this Promotion.
  2. Internet access required.
  3. Promotional Period: The Promotional Period opens at 09:00 GMT on 21.05.25 and closes 23:59 GMT on 31.07.25 (the “Closing Date”) inclusive. Online entries must be completed within this period for a chance to win. Any entries received after the closing date will not be accepted and will not be entered into the Prize Draw.
How to enter:
  1. To enter the prize draw, participants must scan the QR code on promotional displays of 140g MAOAM Pinballs Purple in-store only in Sainsbury’s or visit  www.maoampurpolepinball.com during the Promotional Period, and enter their full name, mobile telephone number, valid email address (which is accessible throughout the promotion) and guess the mystery Pinball flavour by typing their answer into the text box provided on the entry page.
  2. All correct answers will be entered into the prize draw following the closing date.
  3. For the avoidance of doubt, answers featuring spelling mistakes will not be declared as correct. Capital or lowercase letters will both be accepted.
  4. There is a limit of one entry per person. Only one prize per person can be won.
  5. Entries (bulk or otherwise) made from trade, consumer groups, syndicates or third parties will not be accepted.  If it becomes apparent that an entrant is reposting the same content multiple times or using a computer(s) to circumvent this or any other condition by, for example, the use of ‘script’, ‘brute force’ or any other automated means, that person’s entries will be disqualified, and any prize award will be void.
  6. Incomplete, illegible, misdirected or invalid entries will not be accepted. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of delivery. The Promoter takes no responsibility for entries delayed, incomplete or lost due to technical reasons or otherwise.
  7. Entrants who do not give correct details or those who made an entry on some else’s behalf will be disqualified, at the Promoter’s discretion.
Prizes
  1. There will be five winners. The winners will be chosen at random by 07.08.25 using a randomised computer process from all valid entries received.
  2. The winners will be the first five valid entries drawn.
  3. The winners will win a £500 Sainsbury’s Multibrand Voucher (the “Prize”). HARIBO does not accept any responsibility for any costs which are associated with the Prize which are not expressly included in the Prize and any other costs incurred are the responsibility of the winner(s).
  4. No cash or other alternative prize will be provided, except that in the event of circumstances outside of its control, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a similar prize of equal or greater value. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be sold, gifted or auctioned.

  1. Sainsbury’s Multibrand Voucher 
Five prize winners will win one voucher to the value of £500 to spend in Sainsbury’s, Argos, Habitat and Tu Clothing.   2. Prize Draw Winner Selection, Notification and Claim
  3. All entrants guessing the correct flavour will be entered into the prize draw. The winners will be selected via a randomised computer process within 7 days of the close of the Promotional Period
  4. The correct flavour will also be revealed on www.maoampurpolepinball.com on 07.08.25
  5. In the event that less than 5 correct and valid entries are received, those entries that are correct and valid will automatically be awarded one of the 5 x £500 vouchers.  A further draw will then take place whereby all other valid entries are entered, regardless of their flavour guess.  Winners will be chosen by a randomised computer process to select the correct amount of winners for vouchers remaining.
  6. In the event that no correct entries are received, all valid entries will be entered into the prize draw, regardless of their flavour guess.
  7. The winners will be notified by email to the email address provided on entry within 7 days of the draw date.   They will be required to respond to the email address supplied to confirm acceptance of their prize and provide proof of ID including date of birth (passport, driving licence or equivalent form of ID clearly stating the winner’s date of birth) within 14 days of the initial notifying win message.
  8. County of residence will be requested from winners for the purpose of the winners list unless an objection is received.
  9. In the event that a winner does not provide the required details within 14 days of the initial notifying message, rejects their prize or is ineligible, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify that winner and another winner will be selected using the same methodology as above. The process will repeat a further three times until an eligible winner is able to claim their prize, after which any remaining prizes will be null and void. Entrants are encouraged to monitor their connections during this time in case they are a winner.
  10. Upon receipt of prize acceptance and completion of the verification process, prize winners will be emailed their voucher code within 14 days.
General Information
  1. The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries and the winners including but not limited to asking for images of ID including date of birth (passport, driving licence or equivalent form of identification clearly stating the winner’s date of birth)  and to refuse to award a prize or withdraw prize entitlement and/or refuse further participation in the Promotion and disqualify the entrant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions, the spirit of the Promotion or any instructions forming part of this Promotion’s entry requirements or otherwise where an entrant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the Promotion or won using fraudulent means.
  2. It is the responsibility of the entrant to provide correct, up-to-date details when entering the Promotion and on acceptance of a prize. The Promoter shall not be held responsible for any individuals (either winners or entrants) failing to supply accurate information which affects prize acceptance or delivery of any prize.
  3. The Promoter’s decision is final with regard to all Promotion matters and no correspondence will be entered into.
  4. Any personal data relating to entrants will be used solely for the purposes of this promotion by HARIBO to assist with running the promotion on behalf of HARIBO and will not be disclosed to a third party for any other purpose. Entrants’ personal data will be handled in accordance with HARIBO’s privacy policy, available at: https://www.haribo.com/en-gb/privacy/
    Subject to paragraphs 25 and 26, and without prejudice to HARIBO’s data protection obligations under relevant law, HARIBO shall make available, upon receipt of a written request to competitions@Haribo.com, the winner(s) surname and county or such other information HARIBO deems necessary.
  5. Entrants to the Prize Draw shall, at or before the time of entry, have the right to object to all or some of their personal information being made available in accordance with paragraph 13. You can object by contacting dataprivacy@Haribo.com.
  6. Without prejudice to paragraphs 24 and 25 above, HARIBO shall provide the information set out in paragraph 24 upon request from the Advertising Standards Authority.
    Winners may be requested to take part in reasonable publicity relating to this Promotion. The Promoter may request to use the winner’s name and image in connection with such publicity, but such use is made only after express written consent from the winner.
  7. In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this Promotion or the awarding of prizes, or the claiming of vouchers and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend or amend the Promotion or these Terms and Conditions and invalidate any affected entries, at any stage. If any act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these terms and conditions (including but not limited to global or regional health crises, weather conditions, fire, flood, strike, hurricane, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, epidemic, pandemic, famine, plague or other natural calamities and acts of God), the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligations, but will always endeavour to minimise the effect to entrants in order to avoid undue disappointment.
  8. The Promoter, its employees and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Promotion or accepting or using the prize or voucher. Nothing in these terms shall be construed to limit or exclude any liability of the Promoter for fraudulent misrepresentation, fraud, death or personal injury caused by the Promoter’s negligence or any other liability to the extent the same may not be excluded or limited as a matter of law.
  9. The Promoter may at its absolute discretion disqualify any entrant found to be tampering with the application process or operation of the website or to be acting in any manner disruptive to the Promotion.
  10. The Promoter does not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted access to any website referred to in these Terms and Conditions and shall not be held responsible for any difficulties in entering, claiming or any entries/claims delayed or corrupted due to any computer malfunction, virus, bug, delay or other reason whatsoever. The Promoter will have no liability for any loss arising out of such an event.
  11. Limitations of liability: insofar as permitted by law, neither the Promoter nor the Promotion parties assume any responsibility or liability for:
    • Any incorrect or inaccurate entries, or for any faulty, incorrect, errors or failed electronic data transmissions;
    • Communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regard to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, computers or providers utilised in any aspect of this Promotion;
    • Inaccessibility or unavailability of the internet or the website or any combination thereof;
    • Insofar as permitted by law, any injury or damage to entrants’ computers or to any other person’s computer which may be related to or resulting from any attempt to participate in the promotion.
Promotion
  1. If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these Terms and Conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
  2. These terms and conditions, their subject matter and their formation, are governed by English law. You and HARIBO both agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction except that if you are a resident of Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are resident of Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.
